I discovered the Heart Stream quite by accident sometime ago when searching for my favorite PPM's 'The Kid". I liked what I heard and saw, and I have had many nostalgic moments listening to their rendition of PPM's hits. Thanks, guys.

Elizabeth Cotton who wrote Freight Train grew up along the railroad tracks
in Carboro about an hour from where I live in NC. Great job...it's one
of my favorites of all times !!! She was left handed but learned to play
a regular guitar upside down. Keep it up...meet several people from Japan
every year at Merlefest, a large music festival here in North Carolina.
Named after Doc Watson's son Merle who died in a tractor accident. Best

Thank you so much for your PP&M presentations. As a life-long devotee
of their music (since 1963 or so) and amateur singer/guitarist, I regard
your music as by far the most faithful to the original, compared to any
groups I have seen. Your love of their form, style and musical arrangements
shines through every song. Your renditions have the life and verve of
PP&M's. I know that a lot of devoted work went into learning to perform their
songs as well as you do. I am so grateful to be able to see (not just hear)
PP&M's beautiful original guitar scores of so many of my favorite songs on
the videos. I only hope to see more of them.

guitar to get the the PP&M sound. Out of all the covers you are the
best and your accents are very close to the American accent. Some of the

The lead vocalist has captured Noel (Paul) Stookey's singing style and reproduces it beautifully, while the man who sings Peter's harmony parts does so faithfully.
