MESSAGES FROM STICKY RICE

最近、ＢＢＳの方にベーシストの余ちゃんがチョコチョコメッセージをくれるのですが、その内容がとってもおいしいので、こちらでご紹介してしまいましょう。

U've got the permission!!

Thank you for what you did for sticky rice, and sure you can use all the photos. When I met Jerry after their show, I was really shy and nervous. And he's busy chating with Jino and other friend, so we didn't talk too much, just a brief introduce of myself and asked for his signature. But Jino and I we had a good chat after his jazz bar gig and while in his brother's workshop. He asked me what bass do I have, and tell me the story about his AtelierZ basses. He said his first AZ bass was given by 青木智仁, maybe you can saw it in the bass magazine....but I forgot which volume, maybe October 2005. And the second AZ was the black one with J+M+J pickup configuration, as you can see on his debut solo album. But he said it was stolen, so his brother made him the red AZs. Mostly we talk aboout the equipment thing...haha..BTW, Hon Tzi-Li met Craig David on the Shinjuku street, he was surround with several guards...ha. cheers. From:余光燿@ 北海道 2006/04/25(Tue) 23:30 [295] 君が僕たち糯米團に対してしてくれたことには感謝しているよ。それから、勿論写真は全部使ってくれていいからね。CHICのショウの後ジェリーに会った時って、僕は凄く恥ずかしくて緊張していたし、彼はJINOや他の友人たちとのおしゃべりに忙しかったから、あまりたくさんは話せなくて。手短に自己紹介をしてから、彼にサインを求めたんだ。その代わりJINOと僕は、アルフィーでのライブの後と彼のお兄さんのお店でなかなか良い会話を交わすことができたんだよ。彼が僕にどんなベースを所有しているかを尋ねてきて、それから彼のアトリエZについて語ってくれた。彼曰く、最初のアトリエＺは青木智仁からもらったものなんだって。多分、ベースマガジンで見ることが出来るかと思うんだけど・・・どの号だったか忘れちゃったな。２００５年の１０月号だったかな。それから、２番目のアトリエZはJ-M-Jスタイルのピックアップ構成で黒のもの、これは彼のソロデビューアルバムで見ることが出来るよ。だけど、このベースは盗難にあったんで、彼のお兄さんが赤のアトリエZを製作してくれたそうだよ。彼と話したことはほとんどが機材についてだね。ハハ。ところで、洪峙立（注：元糯米團のドラマー）は新宿でクレイグ・デイヴィッドに遭遇したんだって。数人の警備員に囲まれてたって（笑）。じゃ。

Jino& Chic 2

Yeah! I do enjoyed both shows. For Jerry Barnes, he had released an instructional DVD of R&B bass by Rittor, maybe you can check it out. And yes, I met Mas Hino too!! He's a great guy too! I stayed in the workshop with the hino brothers for about one hour, and Jino even let me play his Atelier Z Jino signature bass, WOW~~Mas even promised me he will give me a special price of the Atelier Z bass, just note I'm Jino's friend when place the order, isn't that great? But too bad I can't afford one now. BTW, Jino will send me the DVD copy of the female singer Ai's live concert DVD that just released recently, coz he said there are lot of player's solo in that concert, especailly Jino. And I promised I will send my CDs for return. As for the photos, I'll send you after I upload the photos from the DC to my Mac, including Jino & me, Jino, Jerry, and me, and Nile & me. Cheers!! うん。どちらのショウも楽しんだよ。ジェリー・バーンズについてだけど、彼はＲ＆Ｂベースの教則ビデオをリットーミュージックから出しているから、チェックしてみて。それから、そう、マス・ヒノにも会った！彼も素晴らしい人だったよ。アトリエＺのワークショップで日野兄弟と１時間ほど一緒に過ごしたんだけど、ＪＩＮＯは彼のアトリエＺＪＩＮＯモデルのベースを僕に弾かせてくれたんだよ。ワオー！マス・ヒノはベースを注文するときにＪＩＮＯの友達であることを申告すると、特別価格にしてくれるって約束してくれたんだ。それって凄くない？といっても、今は買えないのが残念なんだけど。ところで、ＪＩＮＯは最近発売されたＡＩのライブＤＶＤを送ってくれるって。その中には演奏者たちによるだくさんのソロが入ってるって。特にＪＩＮＯのソロが。それで、僕もお返しに自分のＣＤを送ることを約束したってわけ。写真に関してだけど、デジカメからＰＣに取り込んだら送るからね。ＪＩＮＯと僕、ＪＩＮＯとジェリーと僕、それからナイルと僕が写ってるやつね。じゃ。

Hi, I've just come back to Taipei from Tokyo. This trip is really amazing for me. Guess what? I went to see Jino playing in a jazz bar called "alfie," and then I introduced myself and asked for autograph...He's super nice!! it seems like suddenly we became friends, and he even ask me to get to his brother's Ateliar Z bass workshop. And for his help, after Chic's show, he introduced me to the Chic's bassist--Jerry Barnes, and he's a nice guy too!! He took me to the back stage to meet all the Chic members....So, finally I've taken pictures with Nile Rogers, and he signed on my Chic's dvd......AMAZING!!! やあ。ちょうど東京から台北へ戻ってきたところ。今回の旅は僕にとって驚くべきものだった。何故だと思う？アルフィーっていうジャズバーにＪＩＮＯを見に行ったんだよ。僕は自己紹介してからサインを求めたんだ。彼はすごーくいい人だよ。言うなれば、すぐに友達になっちゃったみたいな感じで、彼のお兄さんが働いているアトリエＺベースワークショップにも連れて行ってくれたしね。彼の好意で、ＣＨＩＣのショウの後、僕にベーシストのジェリー・バーンズを紹介してくれて。ジェリーもいい人だった！で、彼がバックステージに連れて行ってくれて、ＣＨＩＣのメンバー全員と会わせてくれたんだ。それで、ついにナイル・ロジャースと一緒に写真を撮って、彼は僕のＣＨＩＣのＤＶＤにサインをしてくれた。びっくりだよ！
